Sitting at my apt. with my kid sister watching "willow". I havent seen this movie in about 10 years. It's not as cool as I remember it being...
I had the lamest weekend. I freaked out on my best friend and acted like a fool in front of everyone. I'm really embarassed and want to apologize, but I dont know what to say to her. "I'm sorry, I needed to vent and you just happened to be in my line of fire". I dont think that would work well.
If you have friends with a kid, is it wrong to ask them not to bring the kid to a party? My good friend came back from bootcamp last week and he called me up and talked and I decided to throw a party to celebrate his arrival. And the fact that he's moving to Alaska in 2 weeks and noone will see him for 2 years. I told him about the plan a few days in advance and he was cool with it. I mentioned offhand that he should get a baby sitter for his son considering we're all going to get fucked up and I dont want to have to deal with a baby screaming and crying all the time [and the fact that his wife CONSTANTLY breastfeeds in front of EVERYONE. I cant stand it, theres always somewhere for her to go but she insists on popping her tit out in front of everyone ALWAYS.] Anyway tho.-he called me up saturday morning and asked if it was still going down and I said yeah...blah blah....he called back that nite and said that he was bringing his son and if I could come pick them up and all this shit. This irritated me. He was going to bring an infant around a bunch of drunks and on top of that he wanted me at the last minute to drive 45 minutes to pick up him, his wife and his kid. So, am I out of line in thinking this is all completely ridiculous or does anyone agree with me. I dont want to be all heartless.
