SO I have a interesting / fun past handful of days.
I guess i could say that it all got started last Thursday when I passed out during work due to the heat.
What I do is install satellite dishes. A savior to the tv deprived, for they are an unfortunate bunch.
ANYWAYS, had a job in which I had to crawl in an attic of this Mexican restaurant for around 2 hours.
Considering that it was already 100 degrees F out side, it made it 115 to 120 in this attic.
So after I was done with the appoint I drove over to a 7-11 that was down the street to get something to drink before I go to my next appointment. Right after I parked, I was out like Glen Danzig.
I came two a minute or so later. Not if it was heat stroke or dehydration, and since I don't have any health insurance (god bless America) was was not about go to a doctor and find out.
The next day rolls around and its off to Puget Sound, Washington. With the help of Sirius, and chatting with Joie_ and texting with MercuryRae, the 8 hour drive was not too bad. Side note, those two girls are way too hot and just plain awesome not to be SGs. I DEMAND that they go pink before the end of the year!
Stayed the night at some casino hotel. Nice rooms, comfy beds, showers had great water pressure.
The next day (Saturday, for those not paying attention), was the day of the wedding. I was christened the official photographer of the day, which i have never shoot a wedding before. But I gave it a wing, and it seemed like everyone was pretty happy with the results.
These two where shot on this harbor. (side note: I went swimming with a bunch of people from the wedding there that night, and the algae glows when in contact with movement. Crazy awesome to look at)
And this one was just taken while waiting for the bride and groom to show up to the reception. The brideal party decided to ham it up
The next morning rolls around and I am off to Portland, with a slight hangover.
Who do I meet? The incredibly gorgeous and pocket-sized Toxic!
So we cruise over to her friend's house, nice guy but forgot his name, to shoot a set.
The location was in his game room / home bar.
I was fucking around with the gradient tool with this one
HOLY SHIT, TOXIC IS A HOT-ASS CHICK!
*but unfortunately I was unhappy with the set as a whole. Toxic was great, poses and looks where spot on. I had issues with the location. There was elements that made the shoots look amateurish and I was also having some issues with my remote flash triggers. I know that is what I get for not using pocketwizards, but Christ! those things are expensive!
So this set will not see the light of day, not no worries, I do plan on making another trek to Portland and shooting her again. It will be done right, it will be done awesome.
So back to southern Oregon after the shoot where I decided to have a quick snack before I go to bed.
Too bad I decided to eat lunch meat that went bad. and had food poisoning for the next 24 hours.
Food poising really makes you ponder on what you put into your body. For the most part, I feel better. Just the stomach is still a little sensitive.
Oh I was just told that there are two baby skunks hanging around my car. As cute as they are, do not have a telephoto lens, so all you lovelies will just have to use your imagination.
Going to upgrading my flickr account to pro, so expect a whole lot of new content (not sg related) to appear on it.
