When I was a child my cousins and I used to go to our grandfather's cabin in the woods. He would give us a dollar for every salamander we caught out of his pond. When we gave him the salamanders he would tack them up on a big, wooden wheel and spin it saying, "SALAMANDER!!! SALAMANDER'S THE WINNER!!!" We didn't understand him then, but we had a lot of growing up to do.
