I'm not a very accident-prone person but the other week was pretty bad for me. Let me set up the first day. There was still a lot of snow on the ground and the weatherman called for freezing rain that day. So I leave in the morning and first step out the door my feet fly up and I land on my ass on the front stoop. Luckily my umbrella breaks my fall and unluckily the handle breaks off. The rest of the day I had to clutch the freezing metal pole of my umbrella to avoid the freezing rain. Next day I go to the laundromat to do laundry. I get a bottle of cranberry juice from the store while waiting to fluff 'n fold my stuff. While sitting down I up-end half the bottle into my lap. I'm talking red juice on my crotch that seeps between my legs and allover my butt. Luckily the pants had a previous red oil pastel stain on the back so I wasn't worried about staining those jeans. Then the next day, as I'm walking to work in the morning, I trip and fall. There was no ice or snow or freezing rain or dogs in my way. I just felt my shoe coming off as I was walking down some stairs and fell forward, skinning my knees, dropping my laptop, and spilling some of my coffee. I was mostly sad about spilling my coffee.
So the next week I thought I was in for another few days of exciting episodes because on the train to NYC my water bottle leaks, like a lot, through my messenger bag and onto my nice khaki work pants. I can't turn around to change so I have no choice but to wear the stained pants. Fortunatley since then, knock on wood, no traumatic events have occurred. I think I'm all klutzed out for awhile.

In answer to your question...
I'm doing it in point form so I don't ramble on, haha.
- The observation tower at Olympic Stadium is good for taking pics of the entire city.
- The Bio-Dome has some interesting plant/animal life from different parts of the world.
- The Insectarium has some nifty looking bugs (and go for a walk around the Botanical Garden if the weather is good).
- The Redpath Museum (on the grounds of McGill university) is small, but it has some good fossils and Egyptian items.
- The Old City/Port is the most touristy part of MTL, but there are some nice old buildings there.
- Marie Reine Du Monde Cathedral is right next to the train station, and it is a scale model of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican (similar altar, ceiling art, etc).
That's a start, anyways. Have a good time while you're there!
