I never thought it possible but I feel like I can't read another book. Not even a comic or graphic novel. This could be attributed to the fact that I've read a dozen or more books this summer and my boring jobs can be blamed for the amount of literature I've read because if my boss would have allowed me to crochet while on-the-job I would have started this blog telling you how many projects I would've completed this summer and would go on to tell you how much yarn I'd used. My loss of interest in reading was more likely caused by what I was reading: fluff. All ranges of fluff. Science fiction, erotica, historical fiction, and so on. I need to change my reading scene and pick up some non-fiction/scholarly (but not boring!) material.
With this said I'd like to ask for your suggestions.
For those who don't know me well and are wondering why even make a big deal out of losing interest in reading I'll tell you a little secret: I to read. I am always in the middle of at least several books at one time and one of my undergrad majors is English.
I'll leave you all with this cute song about a sexy lil Librarian. (I work in a library. I'm also going to school to be a librarian. You see the connection.)

For many years I've had trouble reading. I usually find it difficult to concentrate long enough to read anything of substance. Which really sucks because I love books. I have thousands. Literally. And I keep buying more, even though I will never have enough time to read them all.
I pretty much only read non-fiction, but they all tend to be books that present information in very small bites, so I can read them more easily. There's a series of books published by Mental Floss, a great magazine. They're basically trivia, for lack of a better description. Most of the books present the information in small bits, but the newest, The Mental Floss History of the World is actually more long-form, but I'm slowly working my way through it.
I cant stop reading lol...but I usually am doing to much house work to get bored of it lol
