Ya know what? People never cease to amaze me. I was driving home around 4 am and as I went past a liquor store, well more like beer/wine store because I live in a dry county , I saw a guy walk up to the place and grab the doors. Albeit there were neon signs on outside the place but otherwise, completley dark inside with no cars in the lot.
I'm pretty sure my parent's neighbors are in a mob. They were gone for a week and my brother, Ryan, was watching their dogs. So they came back the night they were expected to be back. Then, next day, all their 4 cars are gone again. But later that night, they are back again. So I look out there today and what do you know, they're gone again. I must keep my eyes peeled for suspicous activity.
I witnessed one of the most amazing storms last night. Our area was under a severe thunderstorm warning and before it started raining like the apocalypse was coming, I went outside to burn a cig. The sky was spectacular. Clouds covered the night sky so you couldn't see any stars. But the lightning that was a ways off lit up the entire sky. It was like a huge strobe light was on because that's how constant the lightning was firing. Then, to top that off, I found lightning bugs! (They are kind of rare in our area, usually only in deep summer will we find them and then only occassionally.) We only captured, then released of course, one but I saw several others. They are such flirty things. Blinking at you then hiding when you get close to them.
I have to rock out this weekend because I'll be working and taking an accelerated Painting class, starting next week.
