rad. i went in for an interview/training session today at the video store. it went well. i go in for more training on tuesday and wednesday night. and if i do well on those nights, then i got the job. which would be fantastic. aparently the place is owned by an old Korean couple named Mr. and Mrs. Kim. which immeadiately made me think of Mrs. Kim from Gilmore Girls. which then made me think, "i better not fuck up, or i'll get sooo yelled at." but yeah, job seems easy enough. i really hope i get it. and then by summer i should get a raise, which would be nice.

and i found it funny that more than half of the rentals i dealt with today were porn. not cause i'm shocked by people's porn consumption, cause look what site i'm posting on. but mostly cause it was easter. "Happy Easter! Here are some filthy sex acts for your enjoyment!" and some of the titles... wow. just... wow.

I start classes on monday. i'm taking an extra class on this quarter in addition to having a part time job. here's hoping i don't bog myself down and make me want to kill me. i should be able to handle it though. just hope i don't have to write too many papers.

here are the classes i will be taking this quarter:
Cinematography and Lighting
Non-Linear Editing I
Medievil Mystics in Europe 1000-1600 AD (HA! I'm such a nerd)
Philosopy and It's Issues (which i expect to be the most vague class ever)
Explore Chicago: Women and the Chicago Music Scene (really looking forward to that one)

overall i think that's a pretty badass set of classes for me. I actually kind of look forward to school now
