well, seeing as Ladykillers isn't playing anywhere in this or surrounding zipcodes, i may just have to see Jersey Girl and Eternal Sunshine. anyone wanna give me a ride? eh? eh?
cure for boredom = Futurama on dvd
hey Tegan & Sara, do me a favor and give me all of your cds. thanks
i gotta say, i love not having a roommate for the weekend. i can do pretty much whatever i want. alls i gotta do is keep the door closed and no annoying people in my hall bug me and all is well.
i want new music. i haven't had new music in a long damn time. at least 2 months. that's not right.
damn, my fouton is ridiculously comfortable. almost as nice as my bed. why i feel the need to say this is beyond me
UPDATE:
"The Birdman" by Our Lady Peace is a great song to rock out to. Naveed is such an awesome album. i recommend everyone go pick it up.
"Rebirth of the Slick". ah, that takes me back
UPDATE 2:
Saw Jersey Girl. it was pretty terrific. Best looking movie Smith has ever made. Cinematography was great. awesome performances all around. even J. Lo didn't bother me too much
Affleck is a better actor than most give him credit for. sure he's a ham sometimes but he's still great. Carlin was awesome. and i now want to marry Liv Tyler. i just might end up seeing this movie again.
went to the record store after the movie. got me Murder Ballads by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and This Business of Art by Tegan & Sara. that look of confusion on your face? same one the guy behind the counter gave me.
OH! i also saw possibly the funniest advertisement i've ever seen while waiting for the trailers to start. On the screen they show a logo for The Passion of the Christ, and the announcer goes, "Read the book that inspired the movie! Pick up your copy of The New Testament today, where ever books are sold!" You mean Gibson didn't come up with this Jesus guy? crazy. i could have sworn he was an original character made up by the road warrior himself. and apparently he's part of this big epic novel called "The Bible". anyone ever heard of it? seriously, who the fuck hasn't heard of the bible?! thanks for wasting your money and my time, catholic church
