Like all new things, the new SG is going to take some getting used to. I've been away for a while, mostly because I've been busy (=writing) and when I have been free, I've been playing a fair bit of GTA V and BF4 Beta. That said, I'm off for the next 9 days (for a public holiday), so I plan to play catch up, both on some books and here on SG. I suspect I'll be able to pick up the site considerably at that point.
So far, I sort of like the new look of the interface and connecting the site to my Facebook account seemed easy enough, so I guess it won't be so bad.
So what's new? Well, let's of things, really. K & I are still a thing, which is all sorts of fucking awesome. I'm very much into this gal and I'm super pleased to know she feels the same way. I'm also leaving Kuwait in just over a 100 days, too. I've been here far too long and it's really time to go home, so I'm heading back to Wisconsin at the beginning of next year. So, let's hope the U.S. Government gets its act together so I can still use my G.I. Bill. Oh, and speaking of Kuwait....
Kuwait is being stupid
While this isn't a BIG surprise (I live in the land of religious hypocrites), that this particular issue is getting some international attention is making me smile. A lot.
