God, but do I love freshly washed clothes... got my washer and dryer installed yesterday. Had to buy cinderblocks to put my washer up on, but other than that it was a successful endeavor. Growing ever more excited about the trip south... I even canceled one of my classes this afternoon for it. Not that my students minded, of course. 
I visited chemical death upon the little ant bastards that have set up shop outside my home. Carpenter ants, they call 'em. I call 'em dead.
on the up side, I did finally install my towel bar in the bathroom, and some blinds, as opposed to the pillowcases I had been using up to this point. Far more aesthetically pleasing.
Anywho, I'm out of here in an hour, and on my way to NYC! Say hi if you see me...
