From the depths of the ocean... I'm on my way to St Maarten, or however you spell it, in the Carribbean for a night. I'm far enough down the coast of Brazil though that Africa is actually closer by about 200 miles. I'm three weeks away from freedom. I get to transfer then, and go from the warm tropics and equator up to Massachusetts in January. Break out the parka and the mukluks...
