in all honesty it has been better than i thought. kinda like a long weekend. much accomplished today - took neil to the doctor, did dishes, cooked dinner, made more doctor appointments and scheduled an apt viewing for this week. be MORE expensive madison, I DARE YA.
found a real cute bar last night right by the capitol. drinks were still pretty cheap and nice atmosphere. fuckin hard to find a bar in this town that isn't a jock haven. even the martini bar is full of 400 lb assholes screaming about god knows what. i really dislike the drinking culture here. just a bunch of drunken retards competing for who can be loudest.

and if you haven't gone there already, the lava lounge is pretty good. no jocks there, but a ton of superficial hispters are there sometimes. anyway, it's a tiki bar and the drinks are pretty reasonable. it's right under blue lotus on gilman.
