halloween

I learned several campfire ghost stories at summer camp.  They mostly followed a similar pattern of there being a mysterious ghost, creature, or unknown horror.  There was three attacks,  Each attack was described in ever more blood curdling detail.   Drawing everyone into the suspense and the terror of the unknown,  then suddenly a loud, Boo! Got you!  Oh no look at the...!  Sometimes followed by a summary of the tale to bring it into faux historic reference of the local area.
