Never waste the inside of your pumpkin! Turn your pumpkin seeds into a delicious, healthy snack.
1. Remove, wash, and dry seeds
Scoop out the seeds of a freshly carved pumpkin and remove all the pulp from the seeds. Add seeds to a colander and rinse in water. Leave seeds out to dry. Any excess moisture will prevent the seeds from roasting properly.
2. Season the seeds
Toss your dried seeds in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Spread your seeds evenly on a cookie sheet so they roast evenly.
3. Roast the seeds
Put seeds in the oven at 350Β°F (177ΒΊC) for about 12 to 15 minutes. Once the seeds are a golden brown you know they are ready!
