Chucky's story existed?!
The film Child's Play, where a child has a doll with an evil spirit inside, is based on a true story.
It is told that Robert, the particular doll that we know so much about, is life-size and belonged to a boy named Gene Otto.
The story says that apparently, a servant got upset with the family and in a revenge mode put a spell on the boy's doll.
The boy began to talk to it repeatedly, to everyone's surprise, the doll responded, moved things around and had a life of its own. However, few believed what Gene said about this particular doll. After his death, Robert passed from hand to hand, from generation to generation until he was taken to a museum where, according to the story, strange and frightening things happen.

I love a good scary story! If you believe anything enough, it can happen for sure. Being from New Orleans, voodoo was a real thing growing up.
