Time for an update.
Mom has finished her cancer treatments. We go back wednesday for a scan. If there is any cancer left, it will be cut out. They seem to think there will be some there. They claimed this is normal. Anyway, she got 25 treatments of radiaiton and 5 treatments of chemo. She also had 48 hours straight of internal radiation. They have to do surgery and she spent 3 days in the hosoptial. I wasn't allowed to see her for 2 1/2 days cause she was radioactive. Anyway, we are keeping our fingers crossed. I'm not too stoked on the idea of losing my mom since i lost my dad to cancer 3 years ago. But, the docs say she will be ok.

i found this 68 triumph tr6r (650 ccc) on craigslist a week before mom started treatment. I'm rebuilding it and possibly restoring it to stock. I"m at least rebuilding the engine and putting the stock gas tank back on. Also a better back fender. The previous owner couldnt weld worth a shit. I took a rubber mallet and knocked it off with one tap. I had planned on finishing it by mid summer but i haven't been able to work for the last month or so. I was the person taking care of mom driving her to treatments and staying with her 24/7. She had a pretty hard time, and needed someone with her at all times. Her 71 yo old body took a beating with all this.

I've been riding a lot since last week. I did 200 miles today on the Blue Ridge Parkway with a friend. I saw a dog (lab) riding in a motorcycle side car. Little dude was wearing vintage googles and a vintage helmet. Little dude was rad.

I'm not having the shoulder surgery till next winter. So my life is up in the air till then. Part of me wants to go back to school for environmental science. I just really don't want to spend 6 years in school. This time i will know i will feel old as dirt. Sometimes i kick myself for going a degree in art....
Speaking of art, i'm making a few video pieces. Stay tuned.

In response to ur question on my blog, emotional abuse. Very subtle, but still abuse. I told my sister she treated my niece like shit... not exactly like that but that's about the short of it. Didn't go over well but I guess I didn't expect it to.
