sleepy time trio, prob my fav band from 1996 to about 2005. I was at their final show in dec 1999. That show was fucking epic

this is their reunion show in 2007. THAT I MISSED! i just found out by looking at videos on youtube.... I was living in the same town at the time of the show too


i'm so bummed. i didn't understand how i missed it. I did a google search for the show and found out some stuff...

Now comes the lame part. The reunion show was with another old band called action patrol . It was action patrols reunion show. Sleepytime trio was the surprise guest. So i had now clue they were playing. i remember wanting to go but somehow didn't. I don't know why none of my friends didn't tell me about it afterward either.

When i did the google search i found out why i didn't go..... ..............................I almost don't want to tell this but.............................

Okay,...
My now ex-girlfriend ditched me for a guy in one of the other opening bands from rva about a year before the show. I didn't go to the show cause of that band and that dude. My ex had a problem of ditching me for guys in bands and then running back to me when they were on tour or when it was over. She DID NOT want an open relationship though, she didn't want me sleeping with anyone else... not fair huh?..... Well she is out of my life now....

anyway, that stuff drove me away from music (Never was in a band). Not going into the amount of times she did shit.... anyway, I regret letting her and him get under my skin. I can't believe i missed prob my fav band's ever reunion show.
I feel like such an emo tool right now.......

i wish i had a time machine, i'll go punch myself in the balls
