So the highlight of last weekend, other than making Alyk cry (I feed on tears), was finally seeing Vagiant live. See below
These two gals in particular were super rad. In continuing with my usual history of having a rock star's nicotine cycle, every time I went to smoke these two were out there. Helen, the blonde, proved to be a...capable singer. She did goooooood. Bostonians you may have heard of Vagiant, but if not at least check out their local fav "Fuck the Kells." Yes, that Kells. Rock Band/Guitar Hero fans, you may be familiar with said song, billed as "FTK", as well as "Seven." It was also good to see K again, their ridiculously tall bassist, who goes way back with a friend of mine, and was there to help me break up a fight last time I went to that particular venue.
Accompanying me was my inner child, former member and coworker XanderKnight.
I missed that motherfucker soooooooo bad. We did a lot of public singing, as that night I bought him his first PBR, and his second third and fourth. Gang-serenading my local favorite bartender with George Michael was a highlight.
Right now I am home with the plague, and Jameson's and honey are keeping me alive. But tomorrow I leave fore Baltimore, so I better get better now, as I get to see X and a lot of other very cool people that I am and am not related to. I had to give up a paying gig to go home, but oh well, I already have a job, and family is family.
Here. Have some amusement.
for the broken-hearted
for tasteless laughter
