Read your comment in Cairo's journal, and had something I wanted to say:
See, here's the thing about love: If you sit around going "hey, where's love? when's love gonna get here? why is it so late?". Or you're too busy kind of preparing a place for it in your life, making sure everything is in order, and you're distracted. And then Love will show up and you won't notice it because you're too busy wondering where it is or how to get it. And then it'll be standing around waiting for you to see it standing there and it will eventually give up and go away.
You can't LOOK for love, and it isn't an entity. Sometimes you find it, and you choose to either accept it or not. Or to try it or not I suppose.
That's what I wanted to say.
And remember, to make love stay you must tell it the world is on fire and pee out the window.
Also I've always found that love comes most often when I'm not wanting it. When I'm indifferent to it. And then it's like "hi, I'm love!" and it's all good.
