call this a sidebar - a note to readers and writers - maybe it is elsewhere, but anything you write in SG's messaging cannot be deleted. Sure, received mail can. But, no - sent mail cannot. There are no plans to change this.

I'm just a little creeped out by SG keeping all sent mail. I know I know, it could be copied and pasted by recepient, it could be kept by that person, or by the server by other means - of course.

So "whatever you say here, stays here" takes on a different meaning in SG-land.
