Well....so today has been interesting.
Work was....well work...and slow on top of it. I went to the SGB, which turned out to be a lot of fun. I got in for free (whoo whoo) thanks to a friend who works at the the Croc. I didn't care for either of the bands to be honest, but they weren't the worst things I'd ever heard. The actual burlesque part of it was cool, even though I only got to see parts of it between other jackasses heads. Oh well....Reagon and pearl were fucking awesome. The hula hoop dancing was great.
I'm bummed I didn't get to meet some people I was hoping to meet, like Freckle, blyss, Al, Tawnya and others from SG seattle. But it's mine own fault. I hate walking up to people who don't know out of the blue at a bar, but I know who they are.....always feel like I'd be interupting them and being a slight annoyance or something. So my own fault I didn't meet some people I was hoping to tonight. Oh well, something I need to work on.
Of course, some of it may have had to do with the shit ass news I received while at the show. I was informed by my roommate that she, for reason I won't be going into here, needs to leave seattle, and that I only have untill the end of August to find a new place to live or find 2 new roommates. So not only is one of my best friends in the world leaving, but I have a month and a half to somehow find money to pay for deposit, first and last month rent for a new place.............not fucking likely.....oh well........Something will work out I'm sure....I hope....
Well, I'm tired now.....you talk now.....tell me how your SGB experience was.....and am I the only one who didn't care for the opening bands? Am I the only one who thought the resevoir dogs re-enactment was the most of Awesome?....
I leave now.......................bye............................
