well, I figured it was about time I update this thing. San Francisco was, while short, a lot of fun. I got to see my nieces and nephew, which was wonderful. I had actually yet to see my youngest nice, zoey, since she was born last year. Dear lord is she a cutey. She has the biggest eyes I've ever seen, so every expression she makes, it looks like she is surprised no matter what. Adorable. It was wonderful seeing them all. My oldest niece jaime is getting so big! She almost as tall as I am and she's only 11! Good lord.
Me and Andy had a good time down on the trip. We flew down Friday night, and Saturday we went into San Francisco for a few hours. We went along the pier and checked out some shops...I got a sweet t-shirt that made me laugh my ass off. We decided to go try and find some cool counter culture shops in the city, but I forgot where the hell everything was (It had been like 10 years since I had been in San Francisco last), so we ended up walking around for an hour or so aimlessly. It was cool though, we found a fun bar while wondering around. It was called the CrowBar, and it was a pretty cool punk rock bar. The jukebox they had was fucking awesome.
Sunday we got up a 6 in the morning and drove from San Francisco to Seattle. We ended up pulling into Seattle around 10:30 or so. So we spent 16 and half hours on the road. It actually was pretty fun, and went by a lot quicker than I thought it would. The only thing that sucked was not having a radio. We had to stop once we hit Oregon and jimmi-rig something together so we could plug some little speakers into our cd player. The sound sucked but at least we had some music. This was my first cross country road trip where I was the one driving....it ended up being pretty cool. I had a good time.
I really love having a car so far. I don't even mind paying the insurance. I love being able to just pick up and leave whenver the hell I want to. Having to plan around metro transit can be a fucking drag, so this is wonderful. I love it. No longer riding the shame train.
Well..........that's about it really. I am going to go drive to my roommates work now and drop of some icecream sandwhiches to her, because I'm nice like that.

--When?--
I've seen a lot of things in 5 years,
I struggle just to hold back the tears,
but every fuckin' where I go I see the pathos that
I know, will spell the termination of us all,
someone's got to tell me, do you see,
that everything around you has a hidden tragedy?
seeds of happiness have never found a place to grow,
and our generation doesn't know,
when, when will you try
to change the logarithmic pace of kissing things goodbye,
when will you know that human life is so short
and death is oh so slow,
I've tried to make things make sense but I can't,
I'm happy just to watch them all and laugh,
and if you think you've got it made just revel in your selfish ways,
cuz when the world stops turning so will you!
I love bad religion!
