My lord! Friday was looooooooong day! Course anyday seems long on only two hours of sleep, which was my fault. Thankfully, closing down bars and staying up till 4 a.m. doesn't happen everynight, because I don't think I could function at work on that. So anyway, My day starts out with only two hours of sleep and I'm up at 6:30 a.m. I commutte for an hour or so to work by bus, and then I get to lift boxes and work in a warehouse for three hours. Then I'm on the road from 11 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. delivering orders to people. Jeeesus!!! That just isn't the smartest thing to do, but oh well, I didn't nod off and fly into a ditch or anything, so live and learn i guess.
The best part of the day though, was when I got home and tried to take a nap, I couldn't fall asleep!!!!!! Too tired to fucking sleep! How does that work eh? So, I said screw it, and went out to The Twilight Exit and hung out with friends and played some pool (put up a good fight, but the better man won). The dj's were good tonight, completely contrasting to the dj's on Saturday nights. Those gjuys who dj on Saturdays suck ass!!! Just because you have a record collection of old 50's and 60's pop records, does not mean that you can DJ!!! Seriously. And if you are going to attempt at it, figure out how to work the fucking EQ!!! The high EQ is not meant to be a volume boost jackass! Combined with that, they crank the volume so that there is nothing but high end blasted at way too high volumes so that your ears are bleeding and you can't have a conversation. How the fuck do you make analog sound so horrible? Analog records are meant to sound warm and soothing, not like fingernails on a blackboard. Just amazing.
Wheeeww!!! sorry bout the rant.
Anyway. This site is a little frustrating. Just when I think I have a favorite girl on here (Aiki), then I run across BrookeLynne's photo shoot! Good lord that girl is beautiful! Anyway, I can have two favorites right? I think so.
Trying to plan a trip home at the end of the month. Wanna go see my folks and what not, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. This sucks, but I'll just have to plan another trip home later this summer. I also have to plan a trip to San Francisco next month and pick up my brothers car that he is giving to me. That's right, after seven years of not owning a car and using mass transit as my method of transport, I will be owning a car. I'm excited. Plus when I go down, I will get to see my nephew (my only nephew) gunnar and my niece zoe (whome I haven't even gotten to see since she was born). Unfortunetly, won't be getting to see my nieces Jaime and JoAnna, because my other brother and my sister-in-law will be in Greece (lucky).
Well, this is where I think I leave you today.
I leave you with a little something from the band HUM:
"...Like bleakness and darkness, like underneath the leaf, settle on me here and scrape away the sound, she said you find a space inside my heart if you would stay, but I need you back here on the ground, and it's lift off again...."
