lets see,
a few of my friends have either gotten married or are getting married. this includes ex's that im still talking/close with. my best friend, tom, is getting married this 16th! gah!!!
to anyone else out there, when you see your friends going off and getting married/having kids and all that, do you feel like you are stuck in the proverbial mud? i know. i know. its not a race or a competition. im only 23. but it still sort of feels like you are being left behind.
prehaps its the way we have been brought up in life. you are around your peers for a large chunk of your life. you progress in much the same way through the first, second, third....middle school, high school, college... till you just seperate out into life where nothing is as organized and structured.
ooooh well, done with my rambling!

Weddings of friends are fine... annoying, but fine. Weddings of ex's, usually not a big deal. It's the wedding of an ex that you wish wasn't that really sucks. That is a wound that should be properly disinfected with large amounts of alcohol... preferably from the inside out.
