Today, __foreverlost__ and i went to some very large, very sperical boulders to see some penguins. We didnt see a single one as it happens, but it didnt matter, there were squidgy rocks and shiney shells to collect instead. We might just go see penguins in a synthetic, pseudo environment when we are in Auckland.

Yesterday we saw 2 MASSIVE glaciers and ate pancakes for breakfast. We also saw some very nice birds of prey.

I dont want to go home.

I saw one yesterday at Mount Bruce, north of Welly. I was all myself in the Kiwi House, waiting for my eyes to adjust - and then woah, there it was, six inches from my face - we got closer, so that here was only glass between me and her. Bizarre, beautiful birds..

Keas? I almost got killed by one last year. It tried to eat the helicopter I was in...
