Ah, touche! Yes you can get to know someone through the internet over time. You can't, however, get to know someone in one maybe two or three blogs; unless they have poored their heart and soul into it or, they are extremely shallow. In either of the cases, you only know that side of them they show in the blogs. You don't know the schizophrenic side of them that keeps them constantly locked up inside the room blogging away at the computer keys. So, you are correct grasshopper, you cannot get to know someone entirely over the internet but, you can get to know them over time.

As for me, I am a "philosophical conundrum."

Wheeee, this is a bit of an introductory post, seeing as I never got around to it after however many months of membership....

I'm an A-level student studying first and second year Classical Civilisations and second year Philosophy. Funnily enough I enjoy philosophical discussions with people, animals or whoever will listen to my epiphanies.

yeah, i can identify with the sentiment of, "not doing dating." at this point, ive come to the realization that i should never ever date anyone im attracted to.

i, like most people, end up dating the same archtypes over and over again. while all the girls ive dated are different as individuals, they all share the same types of neuroses and most of these seem to involve indecisiveness and lack of dependability. in other words, if a girl is into me, shes most likely going to have the same issues. its kind of shitty that we cant control whom we are attracted to, much less whom we attract. at this point, id rather just stay alone then submit to someones inevitable cheating/ditching/betrayal of me.
