A pillow would be nice right about now........
My trip to Tucson wasn't too bad in the long run. I didn't really accomplish much of anything by it, but it was cool to spend some time with my brother in between him seeing patients.
Came back up to Phoenix just in time to meet up with the VeryVickieChick and her friend Heather who is in for her annual visit.
Just a moment here to say, Mmmmm twice over.
Sometime between the airport and the waiter bringing us dinner is was proposed to me that the three of us should flee the holiday and hit Los Angeles.
Lessee here......Me+V+Heather+impromptu roadtrip = 2 seconds decision time and a whole weekend of this
Stayed up late Thursday night, got up Friday morning and hit the road, came back early Sunday morning and haven't stopped running around yet. Seriously, I'm typing this during a break actually.
Ah and let me tell you, nothing says Merry Christmas like a tall glass of Thai tea and a menu that includes such treats as "duck feet" and several entrees with the word "blood" prominently featured in the name!!! hahahaha
Suffice to say the three of us had a blast, and now I have another year probably till the three of us cross paths again so I'd better start planning now to see if I can't top this one
The downside of all this, if you can call it a downside, is that I'm still passing out Christmas gifts to people I wasn't able to see last week. This whole 12 days of Christmas may just take me 12 days to get done.
Then a few more for rest.
But sleep is for the weak, and I'm a terrible natural disaster waiting to happen.
Though for the record I had nothing to do with the tsunamis from the Indian Ocean I swear. I'm sure that was Dr. Dooms doing or somesuch.
HOPE EVERYONE HAD A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HERE'S TO AN EVEN BETTER NEW YEARS!!!
