Well I have had quite the month since returning to California....
First off
I'm back in school!!! Im getting my Degree in Natural Science at the end of the year. Then hoping to transfer to get my bachelors in zoology and become a zoologist!! I've been in school for so long haha its getting to be tedious!
Even though that is exciting.....my student loans have been taking forever. So I have been living off of a noodle diet for a while now However, tonight was my last bowl of noodles because I get paid tomorrow from my student ambassador job. I can finally pick up some groceries
I also moved to a new place last week
This was me the morning of the move. Faded, yet ready.
After two years, I decided I was running out of patience for my 37 year old room mates psychotic behavior and thought it best for me to finally get out of there.
Luckily, I found a great place. And my moving buddy made that day a whole lot better.
Unfortunately, on the day of the move, my father's home back in Canada burned to the ground. He and his wife lost everything....
There was a gas leak in the neighbors house that caused an explosion catching my dads place on fire. Thankfully, no one was home and fire fighters arrived in time to save our animals and some photographs. Including ones of my grandmother, who passed away a year ago. He is staying optimistic through it all and our family has taken him and his wife under their wing as they figure out how to get back on their feet. There have also been donations from the town coming in. Furniture and money have been sent in from people who have herd about the fire. We have been truly grateful for all the help and support. It was really tough seeing that happen to my dad. It was the last thing a hard working man who has been trying to catch up with life needed.....
Even though there are a lot of thing stressing me out right now. I like to think I play it off nicely And I'm happy to report that my heart condition is stable and that I am feeling better. I'm almost done my medication and I've been exercising as well as eating right. The pains in my chest are less frequent and my anxiety levels are low. I haven't had a panic attack for two weeks now.
This guy has defiantly been a huge stress reliever I was freaking the fuck out the other day feeling extremely overwhelmed and on the brink of a nervous break down and he made me drop everything so we could go to the beach and just relax. He is amazing.
I hope to be getting a new lap top soon, and then I will be on here more. It took me an hour to write this blog and my computer already sounds like it's about to over heat and blow up. I've had it since 2007, and although I have cleaned it out repeatedly.....I think I'm ready to move on. I'm getting a car first, and then hopefully after that, another job will come around. Crossing my fingers. This move meant big changes for me. This Canadian is trying to make it here in America, legally and it has been a pain in the ass.....
Hope all is well with you guys! Until next time
