Its been a hella long week but not really. I am always a big fan of holiday shortened weeks. You begin on Tuesday and before you know it, voila! Its Firday.
Last weekend in JAX was a blast. Friday night was a chill night. We ended up going to dinner with my best friend and his wife. We then got drunk at his house and played...GUITAR HERO!!! I had never played it before and it seemed odd to have 6 people standing around watching another person strum away on a plastic, fake guitar but its a super amuzing game. So amuzing in fact that I bought one the next day and we rocked out Sunday. Dual guitars...awesome! Now if only I could play a real one...
On saturday, my former boss hosted a Poor White Trash Party at his house in JAX Beach. He even bought an above ground pool to make it more realistic,,,I know what you are thinking though. I am not white. Well they do have brown trash. We just dont have pools in the back. Needless to say, there was tons of debauchary that night.
On Sunday, went to the house party hosted by my boy Eli. Saw tons of people I hadnt seen it awhile. Sometimes that can be akward. But whatever. That was last weekend though.
The week, like I wrote earlier, flew by. I actually ended up flying to JAX on Wednesday for a memorial on Thursday for the crew of Dusty 612. They crashed in the Nevada desert and all five aircrew lost their lives on May 7th. If you get a chance, please send some love to their loved ones. Sorry to have to talk about sad stuff but thats life sometimes.
On Friday, I went to the parade downtown Pcola. It was aight. Lots of people and an ass ton of beads. We meet up with some friends and ate at Global Grill. The food there is good, for the most part. I need to make it to FH and visit scorpiohoe. I told her I would make up for all her bad tippers lately...
Other than that, its been a slow weekend. And its already over!
By the way, I hate drivers in this town. I hope they all crash into the water.
