As of April 6, I'm officially 21. I did not get drunk. I didn't want to. But I did go to the bar with my friends. Three beers and two shots, and I was good. And didn't pay for a bit of it. Thanks to all my friends who were there...which none of them are on SG. But still. Wish you all could've been there to celebrate. That means I could've met you all.
Tomorrow ends week two of starting my workouts. Not seeing a ton of difference yet. But I can feel it. Doing weights three days a week really is improving my muscle strength. I'm slowly getting to where I want. And I am being stricter on my diet every day. Bought a blender today and Syntha-6 whey protein. And oh yes, I made an AMAZING smoothie as soon as I got home. Grocery shopping after work tonight was mainly fruit. Along with a bit of jucie, flax seeds, and greek yogurt. I feel better everyday and I'm not stopping this.
Now for the big commitment...P90X. I bought it the morning of my birthday. Waiting for it to arrive next week. I won't be able to do all 90 days. Because 60 days from when i start, I will leave for Peru. But...I bought it before, was reading all through it, and didn't have the motivation. I had one of the best workout systems in my hands, and all I had to do was put forth the effort, but I was too lazy. I feel pathetic for ever doing that. But a big part of that was the nutrition plan. About 60% of results come from just eating properly. And I remember vaguely what the details of it were. And actually...it's mainly what I eat everyday now. So I don't think I'm going to have trouble with it. But an hour every day is what I have to put forth. And I WILL do it. I am not going to let anything stop me.
One month left of school. That includes finals. And I still have...a project to do for American Lit, two more papers in American Lit, three extra credit assignments for Bio II, two extra credit papers and a 5-6 page final paper for Anthro. But luckily, I have three weeks to get all this done. Knocking a bunch out over the weekend. Have to go to the zoo for two projects, aquarium for another, and McClung Museum (mainly anthropology) for another. So...at least I will have fun doing it all. Anyone want to join me at those places? Mind you, I might be there for a while...
Much love to each and every one of you.
