Because of you
Anyone remember that I said I was going to make myself start drawing again? That was weeks ago, I believe. It was also weeks ago that Toast bought me a new sketch pad, all new, nice drawing pencils, colored pencils, and a new eraser, sharpener, and blending sticks. Last night, I finally did draw a little. What have I been doing in the meantime? Well, Ive been procrastinating, of course, because Im scared. I havent drawn in years. Ive also been planning, and finding references for practice, and sorting, and categorizing and organizing, because that is what I do. I turn everything into a system. Everything has rules, and you have to follow those rules, even if things take you twice (or 3 or 4 or 5) times longer because living within the system is comforting (this is why I have the Obsessive Compulsive Personality traits tacked onto the end of my BPD diagnosis). Anyway, I finally did practice a little, and I was surprised at how easy it was. It was almost like I never stopped drawing to begin with. Wanna see?

My cousin taught me a little piano..,from the Sting...the Entertainer-
or the keys to a typewriter-
A drunk driver caused my car accident and I fell comatose for nine weeks.
Afther lots and lots of therapy and support...I am living by myself, I drive and go to college.
Life is good. The brain can remember....although some people are not as fortunate.
I'm one of the lucky ones!!
