i was gonna go to city to the city tonight to see phobia and rotten sound play at the new balazo art gallery on mission and 18th street but i have no money for gas or money to get into the show . so im just painting and drawing my fustrations on paper . ive been talking to customers about how artists are born and not made . that now in our society with all our therapy and psychoactive drugs to control everything from depression to anxiety to obssesive disorders it seems the need for art as a form of mental physical therapy is somewhat dying off . i mean im probably super wrong and dont know what im talking about but what happened to the bleeding heart artists who cut their wrists and ripped their hair out of their heads and lived in their parents basements and killed themselves before they reached true heights of their gifts? i feel like smashing something .

well, in general I find lawyers comical bordering on loathesome. so i don't know about being loved and respected unconditionally-it's sad dentists are the most hated profession; they're so productive and helpful. as for artists, I think they generally respect each other...so at least we have love somewhere
