Today is the day the Stone Roses album came out. It's a sure sign of spring when I'm dancing around the house to Elephant Stone. In my underpants. Slightly baked. With the sun pouring in the windows and the peas and lettuce and mustard greens springing up from the cold damp earth.
Even better is that the vet confirmed that Miss Kitty's heart isn't all that messed up after all. They heard some irregular beats and wanted to run a bunch of tests on her and she passed. Yes, she's getting old, but there's no heart disease or anything to worry about. Which means we can put the special lotion on any growths that appear. If we're good about catching them and keep on top of it, we'll avoid having more surgeries. Woo-hoo!
And my lady made me the best damned cake ever for my brithday. It's a VEGAN double layer chocolate cake with mocha frosting between the layers and an insanely rich fudge frosting all around. It's the balls.
I think that describes it best.
So instead of going to see the 2 1/2 hour movie about Hitler's final days in the bunker, I think I'm going to sit on the porch and watch the clouds roll by. Tonight me and Lulu are going out to catch some performance stuff at PS122 then we have friends coming through town Saturday and a party Saturday night. It's going to be a grand weekend.
Must get outside.
Now!
