On the Importance of Being a Jerk
The clunks of black coal clink in the grill, the fortified paper bag that holds the coals moans and grunts. It's not necessarily a pretty sound, but it is like a chime, a bell, a signal that says "time to begin grilling." The grilling season started here at Portland Manor.
That smell of fuel, and the burning aroma of whatever dark element coal is comprised off, mixed with the freshly cut grass, combined with light winds and a ridiculous amount of blue skies, sun... all add up to a nice large smile.
Other outdoor news:
The Hornet War is no longer even a war; me and my massive armada of chemicals has thoughly defeated the hornets to the point that I see less of them than I do other strange bugs. Though the other bugs are spared the Can of Doom simple because they do not look as fucking evil as hornets do--that, and they don't have Weapons, like hornets do.
