Looking across the parking lot I see an old man and an even older looking dog. The dog is stretched out and looks like it is resting comfortably, and the old man is laughing. The old man is dressed in what is called a "grandpa shirts", those hip stylish looking articles of clothing that would fetch lots of money if they found their way into some hipster clothes shop. What he's laughing at, I wish I knew.

Okay, I don't know where I was going with that one. Just a random writing/visual excercise I suppose.
I keep having these odd dreams where I'm playing basketball, and I kick ass at it. Not that I'm bad at it for real, but in these dreams I'm dunking, hitting everyshot, and generally just dominating the game. Though in many of these dreams I've either forgotten a uniform, or have mismatched ones. I don't remember this being a fear of mine WAY back in the day when I actually played basketball on my highschool team, but recently I have developed a dream fear of forgetting my uniform while at the same time becoming even awesomer than I am.
I think I heard someone at work say awesomer and I couldn't tell if they were joking when they said it.
I added John Currin to my favorite artists list because there is something abot his work that I go "hmm, I like those". It started up in Boston where I saw the piece "Sno-Bo" and went "what the fuck?" Such an expression is usually a good one. I also like some of Edward Hopper's work, though not the one he's most famous for.
Anyway, time to get some work done.
