I have to say lose my wallet, which is exactly what happened to me. This is a huge nightmare. I spent a lot of time backtracing my steps but to no avail.
It took 12 hours to even realize it was gone, and usually I am very concientous about that. Always checking my pocket to make sure it's there, and always putting it in the same spot before going to bed.
This is either a result of being overwhelmed with all my projects and a serious lack of sleep, or old age setting in. I mean I am 37 now.
So I spent the last day cancelling all my cards, going to the DMV to replace my license, and sitting here with no money because I have no cards and no ID.
There was one ray of sunshine. I found out I have a card I never received from one of my credit card companies, and it had a membership fee attached with a late fee for not paying the member fee.
I was able to successfully tell them to shove that card up their ass. They cancelled it and removed the fee.
Now I just need to wait for my new cards and license to arrive.
Se la vie.. That's french you know!

Yes, we have 2 more appts scheduled for the octopus. I'm 11 hours into it right now and have another appt on March 29th and another one in April to finish it up. I can't wait! I'll keep the pix coming with each sitting.
