I've been mucho busy lately both with work and homelife. It's amazing how time consuming the little things are in life. Though I may not post much it is quite refreshing to come to SG everyday for relaxation.

It's just great having the job I do. I manage a Funcoland (Gamestop to the curious - same company). Some of the customers I get are truly...what's the word...ignorant. Many is the time when a mom or dad has been buying an "M" rated game for their child (kid is usually under 15). I have explained that the game contains "drugs, violence, blood, gore and foul language". I swear to you that the first thing, almost always, out of their mouth is: "Does it have any sex or nudity?" "No," I reply. "That's good. We'll buy it." I have to literally stop myself from laughing at the sheer stupidity and bad parenting of these people. They don't mind decapitations, gutting, limbs being torn off and the f-word every two seconds but show a boob and the game is "inappropriate" for their child. That way of thinking is so wrong on so many levels I've lost count. The socio-religious thinking of our western society is this: It's ok to brutalize and murder people in a game but showing a female breast, one of the most beautiful items in nature, and the game is worse than Satan on Sunday. It boggles the mind.
