Real Talk

Ok so real talk for a minute. I joined and became a hopeful to help prove that all women, big women, small women, all colored women, all ability women, all women, are beautiful in their way. This site has incredible support from members. It can also be frustrating to not be skinny on here. Real life is even more frustrating as a not so skinny being.

The funny thing is, I don't mind that I'm not skinny. The thing I get more frustrated about is that I'm hard on myself as to how I got not so skinny. But you know what, fuck that shit. Who cares! There's a billion totally valid reasons someone could not be skinny. Could be medicine or health issues. Could be their choices. Could be they're dealing with more important things at the moment. Male or female, it's ok to be exactly how you are in this moment.

A friend of mine is about to become a hopeful (and omg I'm so excited to tell you about her) and she's going to kill it and she's not large, and she's a beautiful person! She asked me about SG and reminded me that the people here are amazing. That it's more important what a person feels.

And hell yeah!

I stand by that. And I needed a little pep in my step, but I still believe that 150%. So in true Oprah style, you rock! And you rock! And you rock! It's a bit of a ramble, but if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here. And if you're questioning your body or brain because of society, don't. You are wonderful and important just the way you are.

Ok. Body positive rant over. Love you guys.

You so pretty, and that's such an important message to share. Bigger girls are beautiful too!

The Goddess makes us many sizes, all to be loved and to love. Don't worry about your size, worry about who you are and who you can become.
