This blog was kind of perfect for me coming back and being active again here. I took probably about a 6 month hiatus, maybe more before I was in a rough place. Nothing in life was going right and I needed to take care of myself.
Thank goodness, mother Earth, heaven and the skies above, anything or anyone you'd think of thanking for my dog. Her kisses and snuggles always always always make me feel better and I don't know what I'd do without her.
Other than that, it's a lot of listening to myself. A lot of yoga and getting moving. Moving is good for the soul. It doesn't mean killer workouts every day, or ever, but any movement helps.
If all else fails, I pull a Liz Taylor, put on my face and some red lipstick, and boom, I feel stronger and better.
