Unbreakable has been one of my favorites for years - still the best superhero movie ever made (in terms of quality of film)  Split blew me away... then Glass got such bad reviews that I didn't bother because I didn't want to be disappointed.  But it's good?  Can you say why without spoiling?

My primary goal this year is to practice mindfulness and meditation. My secondary goal is to do some yoga so that my body doesn't atrophy and stop working, i've been sedentary all year almost and I'm so out of shape. I love reading books, and it's cool that you have a goal of reading more, stick to it! If you don't have a library card, get one!! Libraries are a treasure, and if we don't use them we will lose them. I would suggest joining a book club if you have not already, it always helps to get a book read if you have people counting on you to discuss it with them. I joined/started a sci-fi book club that is sponsored by a local bookstore where I live, and we host it out of the pub I co-own. It's great, and though I don't always finish every book, it's given me a great list of books to catch up on when I don't have anything else to read, and I love getting other's perspectives on the books. I also listen to a lot of audiobooks. A lot of times I feel like people don't feel like that counts, but if you are able to focus and listen the knowledge you gain when listening to books is retained just as well as if you read them with your eyes. Anyway, thanks for sharing and good luck on your goals!!

Santa doesn't stop at my house anymore.  Maybe I'll get back on Rudolph's GPS sometime in the futute.

Santa can slide up to my house, honk the sleigh-horn and take me down to the outdoor store to get my feet measured and sized up for the hiking boots that I'm gonna get myself. Then we can hang out in a coffee shop for a while and just enjoy some warm mead while the reindeer graze on some artisanal grass. It'll be nice to treat him to something other than just cookies for once. After that, who knows?

One year everyone in my family pitched in to help me go on an exchange to France. We spent time in Paris, Albertville, Annecy (pictured here), Chamonix, and even took a day trip to Torino, Italy. It was increbile! Travelling is my absolute favorite, so this was the best gift!
