Recently, I've seen how much "we" have matured since "we" were like 16. The big thing I've seen is how when I'm out driving at night (which is very frequently), every time I am near young males, they either try and race me, or they stare at my new wheels like I'm god. It's pretty damn cool. I get instant respect or recognition as being cool just by being in my car. It's funny though, the ones who try to race me, seem to have no fuckin' clue that I already know the outcome of the race. I can look at their car, the way they're driving it, and the current state of mine, and know who would win. Most times, I would lose, no question about it. Mommy and Daddy didn't buy me a brand new RSX. I got myself a used R/T. And I'm fine with that. Besides, I don't street race, there is no part of it that I can find worth it.
1. I have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone.
2. I don't have the money to replenish my gas tank.
3. I hate wasting that much gas anyway.
4. If we get caught the consequences don't justify the risk.
5. "F" you guy!
I remember back when "we" were in high school, racing anytime seemed like a good thing to do. Luckily, I drove a piece of shit, so I didn't do it anyway. I used to want to be cool, so bad. Then I realized I was cool. Then I stopped caring, and I felt really cool. Now I just am pretty cool. I'm doing my life the way I want now. Just taking the steps. Thank-Allah-Budhah-Jesus-Jehovah-God-Oprah-Kratos-L. Ron Hubard for Susan, cause i'd still be definately ass-out if it wasn't for her. No new job, no new car, no new school. How does that sound? Shitty, I know. But speaking of not being shitty...
The pics are up of the new Sidekick 4 (shuriken) and Sidekick Slide (Zante) at hiptop3 I personally want the Zante so bad, since it's built by Motorola this time, but the Shuriken finally has a bigger screen. So, it's whatever, I personally think that the Shuriken looks just like the T-Mobile Wing, but that's me. I am so holding out for that Zante. Hopefully the music player plays MPEG-4. The RAZR2 also interests me a lot. But then again, so does the new ROKR ZM. But that's mostly cause it's a RIZR, but that's the best part.
Sometimes, I think about things, like right now, I'm looking at the posters on my wall, and thinking about how much fun it used to be to play Mechwarrior with Paul and them at the Rogue's Den, and then how sometimes it was fun playing at Paul's house, and sometimes it wasn't. I realize that I can't enjoy myself too much if it's too quiet. The Den was the perfect place, and I loved playing on the warhammer boards. It added an element that the standized playing fields just couldn't do. They were also in scale too. So that was awesome.
I am now offically on day 6 (I think) of no soda... and sometimes it sucks, but most times, it's like any other day. It's hardest at work, when soda is pretty much what we got. Water, just doesn't satisfy like soda does. But it's funny, cause soda was starting to make me feel fatter when I was drinking it. So, that definately wasn't good eats.
Guess what!? I've moved up to medium on Guitar Hero 2. It was pretty easy to beat easy, but it's been a challenge to get through medium good. Mostly since my brain doesn't register red and blue buttons together. So I'm pretty screwed that way. And when I hit the red button, my pinky pops out of socket, and won't hit the blue button in time. But I'm almost got medium beat. It makes me miss Amplitude a lot. I was so good at that game. I was very proud that I got as far as I did without have to use the L and R buttons, that shit fucked me up bad. Harmonix needs to come out with a new Amplitude. But they're just super focused on Rock Band. And I want that shit so damn bad. The Guitars are 3/4 scale now, so that tiny Guitar Hero ones are no more, but they'll still work on the game, and there's drums and a mic, but I don't care about the mic. I'm all about the drums and guitar/bass. That's gonna be spectacular, it won best in show at E3 this year, so it'll be bad-ass!
