Wow. Have you see Sicily and Fractal's set yet? Wow...Wow.
So I'm about to be broke. I changed over my car to Virginia the other day, and with it I also removed my father's name from the title, which means I'm no longer on my parents' insurance. Let's hear it for throwing your money down a hole! I might look into getting a second job. Or I'll just stop buying all of the useless crap I always splurge my money on at least once a week.
If you're into anime and/or samurai and you liked the animated sequence in Kill Bill Vol. 1, you should look into a show called Samurai Champloo. It's partly conceived by Kazuto Nakazawa, the man who did the animation for The Origin of O-Ren bit, and it's amazing. I bought the first four episodes on DVD yesterday. It's on Cartoon Network late at night (11:30 on I think Saturdayl, after midnight on other days). It's really cool. Another show, if you are a fan of The State and Reno 911, is Stella. It's going to be on Comedy Central starting June 28 at 10:30pm. It's Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain doing 30 minutes of absurdity. You have to see it to understand it. A friend of mine downloaded the pilot episode and it's one of the funniest fucking things I've ever seen. They've done a number of short films that can be seen online here. The Comedy Central show is a lot less raunchy than the films. There is far less humping, for one thing, but it's actually much funnier. Everyone needs to watch it. If no one looks at this page, I'm going to reply to all of your journals with the link, so watch out. I'm advertising the hell out of this show.
