I've lived in Boston for almost 19 years, and was finally persuaded to attend a Red Sox game on Sunday. And I actually had myself a rather pleasant time. Surprised? Not more than I am, let me assure you.
Summer's supposed to be a languid time spent drinkin' lemonade down by the ol' creek, if you believe the literature. But it appears to be a time of transition around here. Everything seems to be gearing up for Autumn.
So, time to go shake some stuff up.
Even though I probably "throw like a girl", I hope you're able to catch this:

and yes to your trait - how i have worked on such things. it is hard when the made makes a MillionCOnnectionsAtOnce. but alas, the quiet must be respected to, right?
so, i will look forward to hearing more about this change later, yes?
and red sox games are only as good as the company you keep. i imagine a game with you would be smashing.
Yeah, I really hope I get this job!!! I may not find out for a few weeks. THis is the first job I've ever applied for that I needed to make a resume for instead of just filling out the aplication form!
anyway, summer in new haven is a partial respite from the yalies. (not all of them leave, and we are inundated with summer students, a good portion of whom are high school students.)
We always expect there to be a great deal more parking while the Yalies are away, however Yale always seems to use this time to do building maintenence that magically eats even more parking spaces than they normally use.
Anyway--
