What a weekend. My cable and internet went out mysteriously on Saturday morning, and then magically reappeared milliseconds before the repair guy came over and woke me up on Sunday. There must have been a loose line outside, and now, hopefully, everything's fixed.
Why is it that songs by that silly band Electric 6 seem apply to situations I find myself in? I don't even really like them all that much! Well, here it is: "Fire in the disco, fire at the...gates of Hell". Yes, the fire alarm at the club went off on Friday, with one minute to go in the night. Our new smoke machine set it off, and there was no damage, except that a bunch of scantily clad people had to wait outside for a bit without their coats while the fire dept. came and determined that nothing was wrong. The good thing was that everyone was really well behaved and level-headed, so if, god forbid, there ever is a real emergency, it appears that all of our procedures will run smoothly. Besides that, the rest of the night was a fun time. It was great to see Blondie and my recently transplanted friend Strio who was up for a surprise visit, and I got to play their fave Ministry song for them.
Was able to spend some really stimulating quality time with my bf Zi , and also see a friend who was visiting from NY...we drank our way through Boston's limited Sunday night options and had a blast.
Now, it's back to the real world, and I send big to all who stop by and read this!

quiescence:
I'll be seeing you tonight sir. Hope that Monday and Tuesday were enjoyable, but less eventful, than the weekend.

Many points for playing 'The Wicker Man' on the screens tonight.
