Went to the remnants of a birthday BBBQ after work on Saturday. The extra B was for BYOBB. That extra B was for...no wait, I think I've heard this somewhere before.

Boston marathon today, which means staying away from downtown Boston. It's going to be HOT weather-wise today, so everyone's going to dropping like flies. Could be fun to watch. Who says exercise is always...

It seems that technology is against me. Either that or I've got to remember to stop pouring coffee into my computer keyboards, rendering them useless. Well, got a new one, and that's the big news here.
More when something interesting happens.
And a big kiss to you.

Still not feeling completely normal, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to see David Bowie's concert last night. He still has the best hair in rock music. And The Voice just keeps on getting better with the passing of time. It was a very interesting show, especially for the huge stadium venue...definitely not a greatest hits concert. There were a few of those, of course,...

Glad that you enjoyed the concert. Hope that you're feeling better soon.

I'll gladly accept only if you can think of some way I can reciprocate... If there's anyone listed within my fav bands or if interested in Levin's solo material, those would be the prime choices for similar goodies collected. wink I'd feel particularly guilty if I didn't have a chance to repay your kindness and good taste in music! biggrin

Had a lovely time working at the club this weekend...Wolfsheim on Friday, and seeing some old friends on Saturday...one just back from Kuwait. I must learn how to pull off this aging gracefully thing as well as they have. It seems like they have Dorian Gray-like paintings stashed somewhere.

Feel like I may be coming down with a slight case of the sniffles, so today...

Chicken soup & DVD's are usually my plan for such things, as well... I'm waiting to see what 'aging gracefully' has in store for me. By gaging my parents & their parents, I'll probably be rocking the greying temples look. I think I can live w/ that! biggrin
wugglyump:
it's funny because i know what you are talking about because i have seen that movie. and that guy...is very attractive looking.

so what club to you work at?

so, i apologise for not leaving a plethora of comments in your journals. plrease don't think i've abandoned you, my friends. i've been stopping in very quickly to catch up with you, and just haven't had the time to leave my usually wordy feedback. as you may be able to tell. i'm feeling pretty guilty about that. so, expect something of more substance from me...

I really don't mind a guy telling me that at all. Besides, gay men tend to have better taste than anyone else, so it becomes a better compliment, lol. Okay, there are a lot of gay men with bad taste, sorry about the stereotype, fucking Queer Eye show has me brainwashed into cultural stereotypes.

What a weekend. My cable and internet went out mysteriously on Saturday morning, and then magically reappeared milliseconds before the repair guy came over and woke me up on Sunday. There must have been a loose line outside, and now, hopefully, everything's fixed.

Why is it that songs by that silly band Electric 6 seem apply to situations I find myself in? I don't even...

So, I think I'm back. There's been a lot of work, and not enough hours in the day. And not enough sleep at night. I'm doing more commercial website sound design, and am trying to record my new album at the same time. More on all of this very soon, I promise.

I miss you all very much, and will be peeking in on my...

you know what? i was having the exact same thoughts about the whole MA gay marriage campaign timing thing and wondering if this was a way to redirect the issue. i mean, it may be hoping for more than possible -- such foresight in any legislative body, especially around such a contested issue, is unusual -- BUT, if any state we're thinking on their liberish toes it would be MA i think. i hope may be more like it. i am sad about SF, but at least the rulling has ambiguous wording, you know? there is hope yet. last night i saw this woman from the concerned women for america (on the 20/20 w/ rosie's wife) talking about how gay marriage cheapens marriage. thank goodness they made the point that plenty of hets "cheapen" marriage every day and no one is protesting them or making admendments that affect them. gah, she was such a wench. that organization is terrifying though. one things is for sure, no matter what tide the country takes, NC will cling to its fundamentalist roots for as long as possible.

on to more pleasant things - yay for the link. i will check yr stuff out for sure. dark=good. and no, my crazy self has not yet picked up silk. but i wrote it down, so that is half the battle, right? biggrin

This is just a quick trip in to update my journal, and apologize for not being around. I've been incredibly busy, and look forward to having some time to look at my friends' journals, make some silly comments, and have some fun. You'll be hearing from me in a couple of days, and big smooches to all! kiss
