First Off, see the comments in my last entry? Tell me Im not the luckiest guy on earth. Thanks Anberlin and Eliska, you made my day.

So I go to my first class of the day: Speech, and the professor has the class split into 2 groups- The Males/ Females. We are then to devise 5 questions to ask the opposite sex about their communication habits in a relationship.

Some interesting facts I learned today from said Q/A session
1) After a certain amount of time in a relationship men are expected to know what women are thinking
2)Women are allowed to have male friends and NOT visa versa because women cant trust men
3) Apparently if men expressed their feelings more often, we would be trustworthy
4) Men express their feeling in a physical manner (Flowers and presents) rather then verbally (I love you darling)because men in our society are stigmatized as weak for showing emotion other than anger
5) All men are jealous and posessive

My Reactions to these findings
1) How in god's name am I supposed to know what is in the female mind? I have talked to women who dont know why other women do the things they do.
2) Thats just not fair. You think the double standard only applies to you,ladies? Think again
3) I'll believe it when I see it
4) Correct
5) Im not even sure how to field that kind of statement. If we are posessive its because we want to protect whats ours, just as we are yours in a relationship. I think women would be equally offended if we did not show any effort to telling some guy off if he was flirting with you.
