Hey So I just watched Zodiac.
Here is my review, copied and pasted from tumblr
Film: Zodiac (2007)

Directed by: David Fincher
Starring: Jake Gyllenhall, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo and others.
I'm not sure how it has taken me this long to see this film, but fuck, i LOVED it.
First off, David Fincher is my favourite director (Fight club, Panic Room, Social Network, S3ven,Curious case of benjamin button, and also the game which I have yet to see) and yet again his meticulous direction shines through here, so beautifully and hauintingly done.
The cast are great, I've only Really seen Jake Gyllenhall in Donnie Darko, which I loved also, and he is great here as well, a character it's easy to get used to, like, empathise with, getting in to deep. RDJ is great as always, and Mark Ruffalo (who I've seen in Shutter Island which is in my top 5 of all time, as well as the kids are alright, which was good) played his part very well also.
Without saying too much the story line was great, very well written, but it shouldn't be forgotten it's based pretty much entirely on a true story, which for anyone who is interested is wrriten in the book Zodiac by Robert Graysmith which I have in front of me ready to read.
Over all I would give this film a 9.5 out of ten, not quite a full ten, a tad confusing perhaps at times. But totally understandable throughout.
