RANT: Isle of Man TT coverage?
The IOMTT runs next week, it's 102nd year. Where is the goddamned TV coverage in the US? This is the longest running race in the history of motorsports, many would say the most important and some even consider it the only race that matters.
Speed TV will happily feature slack jawed yokels going around in a circle over and over and over, but the thought of motorcycles traveling on actual roads with houses and stone walls apparently must seem... what, boring? Is the thought of real road racing just so terrifying to the powers that be, or are they really just interested in pimping the corporate sponsors?
If you're unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, have a look:
Isn't that more interesting than watching Jethro Bodine turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left...

I would say that a 102-year-old race would be the most important.
I am very surprised that you cant see this race in the US, hell you can even see people racing ridding lawnmowers.
Any bars near to you have a good Satalite TV.
Bribe the bartender.
Or grab your passport and Max out the plastic.
