So I went to nuke a hotdog today. I hit START on the microwave and it made a funny noise and the light in the kitchen got really bright! When that happened, my dad started cursing in the living room as his beloved NHRA coverage went dark.
I grabbed the volt meter and started taking some measurements, turning things off and on around the house. I saw readings as high as 180 volts and as low as 50! This is a super quick and reliable means of frying expensive home electronics...
The temporary fix? Jumper cables!!
IMPROVISE, ADAPT, OVERCOME.
I turn 41 tomorrow. Meh.
The good news is that I'm talking to a different girl online, and so far she seems to be the good kind of crazy, not the erotophobic neuroses kind of crazy, like that last girl. She also lives closer to me and she's way cuter, too! We'll probably meet up within the next week or so, I think...
