I've always relied on the kindness of strangers...

It's been a rough week, though nothing earth shattering. I came home from my monthly medical treatment to find that my SG account had expired. (Has it really been a year since _panda_ gifted me a membership? Where does the fucking time go?)
So no naked punk rock chicks to help ease me through the misery of the side effects, and that's bad enough, but the UTMC forum where I spend most of my time is down, then KZRider.com started acting flakey! Normally, I'd just go outside and do stuff, or work in the shop, but when the side effects are really on me I don't have the energy to do much, and tend not to trust my judgment to work with dangerous power tools...
Thankfully, some limey bastard thought enough of me to gift me another year on SG! If you like having me around, go thank him. If not, well, fuck you anyway, hahaha!
By last night, I felt well enough to do some tinkering in the shop. Nothing super complicated, mind you, just more practice routing for the logo inlay. If I haven't done something before, I want to practice the operation before I do it on the amp. I basically get one shot at this, so I better not fuck it up...

Oh yeah, I did get a chance to go for a ride on Monday. It was great! Action Man and I cruised some local back roads and wound up at the lake...

Minutes after this photo was taken, the cold front hit us. The wind blew mightily and the temperature dropped 20 degrees in about an hour. By the time I got home it was 50 degrees and falling rapidly.
I'm ready for Spring!!!
